Summer Solstice Scavenger Hunt - This Sunday

Chester Park middle schoolers (and rising 9th graders) are invited to participate in the annual Summer Solstice Scavenger Hunt this Sunday, June 21st. This is for Chester Park children entering grades 5-9.

When: Sunday, June 21st at 8:30 pm
Where: Meet on the Chester Park steps

Prizes:

First place: $50 iTunes gift card
Second place: $20 iTunes gift card
Third place: $10 iTunes gift card
Fourth place: $10 iTunes gift card
Fifth place: $10 iTunes gift card

Chester Park Earth Day!

Who's ready to give Chester Park some Earth Day love on Sunday? 

Residents of all ages and sizes, as well as dogs (on leash!) are invited for a half-day sprucing up of Chester Park on Sunday, April 26 from 12-2.

Bring sunscreen, work gloves and your love of Chester Park. The CPA will provide the rest. We’ll undertake a number of beautification projects:

* Cleaning up fallen branches and last autumn’s leaves
* Applying grass seed to patchy areas
* Light pruning and removal of dead wood
* Painting the storm cover on the Maple Ave. sidewalk
* Installing replacement signs
* Much, much more!

With many hands, this work will go very quickly.

Attention Pelham Middle and High School students: You will receive community service credit for the time you put in. 

A big thank you to Dom Ragno from D Ragno Landscaping, who has been nice enough to donate some soil and a 50 lb bag of seed to the park for our use. Come help us beautify!

Movie in the Park!

Chester Park residents, don't forget about this fall's Movie in the Park, coming up this Friday at 8:30! This year we're watching Mrs. Doubtfire, our choice due to popular vote.

Bring a blanket and some food and drink and enjoy yourselves!
